NOTES FROM June 2009 MEETING

1. On Tuesday, 9 June, 2009, Yorktown Chapter CW&WOA President called the meeting to order at 1130 held at Port of York.

3. Previous minutes. Minutes from the May meeting were not reviewed or approved.

5. President's Report.

a. President called to our attention the Chiefs Mess would like us to provide them with our

Official Liaison for future joint sponsored events. CWO Myers thought a great

opportunity and volunteered to act as our liaison.

b. President called to our attention the Portsmouth/Norfolk chapter would be interested in holding meetings with the Yorktown chapter and possibly working together in future events.
c. President called to our attention the CWO Breakfast with the CO has been rescheduled for 0715 on 25 June 2009.

6. Old Business.

a. CWO Carriere working on the logo for shirts and price markup of items.

7. New Business.

a. The CWO Breakfast with CO has been rescheduled to 25 June 2009 at 0715.
b. Consider TCY 50 Year Celebration for 10 July 2009. Anticipate including a CWOA coin in the new time capsule.
c. John Crisano and CWO Whitney Jones will man a table for Spring Fling with others devoting an hour to assist with this. Tickets will be sold until 11 June for those purchasing tickets late.
d. Discussed how to advertise the link to sell items from the YCWOA site.
e. CWO Carriere passed info discussed from the May CWO National Convention. Some topics mentioned were membership in the National CWOA, spending limits, criteria for distinguished member nominations, the new members voted in, etc.
